Hot and Cold Side Boot Kit for 1999.5-2003 Ford F250/F350, 7.3L Powerstroke, part 83-2011.

Charge air boots are rubber, and rubber in a diesel engine bay lives a hard life: heat from above, oil mist from the crankcase, and pressure cycling every time you get on the throttle.

A boot that has gone soft or split leaks boost, and a small leak is worse than an obvious one because it costs power quietly for months before anyone finds it.

This kit replaces the hot and cold side boots together, which is the sensible way to do it — the second one is always about to fail when the first one does.
