Remanufactured TP38 turbocharger for the OBS 7.3L Power Stroke.
The TP38 is the factory turbocharger for the 1994.5–1997 Power Stroke, and it is the single most common failure point on a high-mileage OBS truck. Shaft play, a leaking centre section, or a wastegate that no longer holds are all reasons these come off.
This is a remanufactured unit rather than a used take-off. Confirm your engine serial number before ordering — the TP38 covers serials up to 661,973, and later engines take a different turbocharger.
The most frequent ordering mistake on this part is buying a GTP38 by mistake. That is the 1999.5–2003 Super Duty turbocharger; it will not fit an OBS truck.
