Yukon Gear & Axle 4.88 ring and pinion set for the front Dana 60 in the 2017–2019 Ford Super Duty.
Fitting taller tyres changes the effective gearing of the truck. Regearing puts it back where the factory intended — and on a diesel that tows, that is the difference between a truck that pulls and one that hunts for gears.
Front and rear must be regeared to the same ratio. This is the front Dana 60 set.
Ring and pinion sets are not all equal, and the difference only shows up under abuse. Yukon's are made to current designs and manufacturing standards, and they have earned a reputation for surviving what finishes other sets.
This is the 4.88 ratio. Yukon list each ratio as its own part number and they are priced differently — pick the one that matches the rear.
