BulletProof Diesel remote-mount oil cooler relocation kit with billet transfer block and cooler for the 2003–2007 Ford 6.0L Power Stroke.
The 6.0L Power Stroke's oil cooler sits in the engine valley, where it is surrounded by heat, and it plugs with soot over time. A restricted cooler drives oil temperature up and starves the EGR cooler downstream of it — and getting to the thing means removing the intake manifold and the turbo.
This kit moves the problem rather than replacing it in place. A billet aluminium oil transfer block takes the oil out of the valley through braided hoses to a factory-style cooler mounted behind the passenger battery.
Out of the valley means cooler oil and far easier servicing — the next time the cooler needs attention, the intake manifold stays where it is.
