DieselSite redesigned engine oil cooler kit with extra plates, O-rings, gaskets and a stainless steel reservoir screen for the 2003–2007 Ford 6.0L Power Stroke.
The 6.0L Power Stroke's oil cooler sits in the engine valley, where it is surrounded by heat, and it plugs with soot over time. A restricted cooler drives oil temperature up and starves the EGR cooler downstream of it — and getting to the thing means removing the intake manifold and the turbo.
DieselSite redesigned this cooler rather than copying the original. It carries more plates than the OE unit with properly sized passages, so there is more area for heat exchange and less to restrict flow through it.
The kit includes all the O-rings and gaskets the job needs, along with a stainless steel reservoir screen.
