Driven Diesel switch that commands more fan speed on demand, for the 2005–2007 Ram 5.9L manual and 2007.5–2020 Ram 6.7L Cummins.
Sometimes you want the fan working before the ECM thinks it needs to — climbing a grade with a trailer on a hot day, or idling down after a hard pull.
This switch gives you that on demand. Enabled, it makes the ECM read a higher engine coolant temperature than the truck actually has, so it commands more fan speed from the clutch. Disabled, the ECM sees the real sensor value and the truck behaves exactly as standard.
It is a driver-controlled addition rather than a permanent change: nothing is altered when it is switched off.
