Turbo Intake Horn Chevy/GM 2500HD & 3500HD 6.6L Duramax 2017–2022, BD part 1045630.
The factory intake grid heater plate sits directly in the path of everything the turbocharger pushes into the engine, and it is a real restriction once airflow goes up.
Removing the grid heating element and fitting BD's open grid plate increases the opening by 35%, which takes the bottleneck out of the intake path.
It pairs with BD's X-Flow intake elbow, and the two together are what make the difference rather than either alone.
