BD Roadmaster Allison 1000 Transmission & Converter Package for the Allison 1000 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 6.6L LB7 Duramax 2001–2004.
The Roadmaster is BD's base build: a transmission for a stock or lightly modified truck where the point is reliability and longevity rather than extra torque capacity. It keeps OEM clutch counts and adds BD's own fixes to the known weak points.
It ships as a matched set with a BD torque converter, so the converter's stall speed and clutch capacity suit the transmission rather than being picked separately.
BD lists this as part 1064854SS, the 4WD version. Other drivetrain and PTO combinations carry their own part numbers.
BD supplies this as an exchange unit: a $2,000 refundable core deposit applies, refunded when your old unit is returned.
