KC Turbos KC300x Stage 3 66/73 drop-in turbocharger for the 1994–1997 OBS 7.3L Power Stroke, standard finish, for the aftermarket intake.

Exhaust gas temperature is what limits how hard an OBS 7.3L can work, and the standard turbo runs out of air before the engine runs out of ambition.

The KC300x line is built around drop-in fitment: a bigger turbo that goes in where the factory one came out, rather than a kit that reorganises the front of the engine. More airflow means a broader powerband and, more to the point on a working truck, lower exhaust gas temperature.

This is a journal-bearing turbo using a Borg Warner 300SX-E style turbine wheel, modified to fit inside a drop-in-ready Power Stroke housing. KC have run it on the dyno, at the track and through their own durability testing.

The compressor inlet has to match what your truck already has. KC build this turbo for three intake arrangements — the 3.5 in metal CCV tube, the 4.0 in plastic CCV tube, and an aftermarket intake — and each is its own part number. Check which one is on your engine before ordering.
