KC Turbos Jetfire direct-replacement VGT turbocharger for the 2011–2019 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke, Whistler version.
The factory VGT is the 6.7L Power Stroke's weak point. The 2011–2014 trucks were the worst of it, with failures common once boost went above standard; Garrett improved the design for 2015 and again for 2017. Either way, the stock turbo runs out of airflow well before these engines run out of appetite for fuel.
The Jetfire is a direct-replacement VGT: a Gen 3 KC compressor wheel, the Jetfire turbine wheel, a high-flow vane cage and KC's custom-ported compressor cover. It keeps the variable-geometry operation the truck relies on rather than trading it away for airflow.
What that combination buys is quicker spool, better boost control and more airflow across the powerband, with vane response improved rather than compromised.
This is the Whistler version — the compressor wheel gives the turbo the audible whistle. The Non-Whistler carries its own part number if you would rather it stayed quiet.
