Turbo Turnbuckle 5/16NF Rod w/Pin w/Aftermarket Turbo or Wastegate Chevy LB7 Duramax 2001–2004, BD part 1047116.
A wastegate that creeps lets boost fall away exactly when you are asking for it, because the gate opens earlier than it should under sustained load.
BD's adjustable wastegate kits deal with that: stainless steel brackets, a high-temperature Nomex diaphragm with a heavier spring, and a turnbuckle so the boost pressure setting can be dialled in precisely.
It is an adjustment you make once and then leave alone.
