The TowMaster is BD's build for trucks that tow. It goes further than the Roadmaster on clutch capacity and line pressure, which is what a transmission runs out of when it is pulling weight up a grade in the heat.
It ships as a matched set with a BD torque converter, so the converter's stall speed and clutch capacity suit the transmission rather than being picked separately.
BD supply this as an exchange unit: a $1,800 refundable core deposit applies, refunded when your old unit is returned.
