Banks Techni-Cooler intercooler system for the 2008–2010 Ford 6.4L Power Stroke.
The factory 6.4L intercooler has plastic end tanks, and they can crack under boost — a failure that dumps charge air and leaves the truck down on power, usually at the worst moment under tow.
Banks built the Techni-Cooler system around the problems in the stock intercooler: a denser core and a stronger charge-air path in place of the factory unit, on a 6.4L that already runs high charge temperatures.
It is a direct replacement system for the 2008–2010 Super Duty, listed by Banks for the 6.4L Power Stroke.
