Banks Techni-Cooler intercooler system for the 2011–2016 6.6L Duramax LML.
Heat costs a diesel horsepower, fuel economy and service life, and the intercooler is the most direct lever on it.
This Banks system pairs a high-flow intercooler with the intercooler piping, boots and clamps for a complete installation, so the restriction does not simply move from the core to the plumbing.
A turbodiesel makes charge air hot before it makes power. The intercooler is what takes that heat back out, and what it gives back is denser air into the cylinder, lower exhaust gas temperature and a truck that does not lose its composure halfway up a grade with a trailer behind it.
