Genuine new Garrett drop-in replacement turbocharger for the 2004.5–2010 6.6L Duramax.
This is a brand new unit direct from Garrett, the manufacturer of the factory turbocharger — not a remanufactured one.
It carries Garrett's latest upgrades, including the revised centre housing with three cobalt pins added. The pins are there to reduce distortion and improve how the vanes actuate, which is the mechanism that goes wrong on a variable-vane turbo full of soot.
One note for 2004.5–2005 LLY engines: fitting this turbo to those trucks also requires the Vane Position Sensor Adapter, which is a separate part.
